At the time of the Ch'ang-chi rebellion, all of the rebels were arrested and executed in a forest to the west of Ti-hua https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9781315293134/c866fb90-eb94-4746-9f2f-85d4c9f8507f/content/fig810_B.tif" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"/> . (Author's note: Ti-hua is the official name for Urumchi and now has prefectural status. The forest is several dozen miles deep and is commonly referred to as "the Haunt.")
