[Friday. Kew and Windsor.] This Morning after Breakfast we saw M^r Best & M^r Dornet of the K^g[’]s German Office. ¹ then the K^g saw Baron Alvensleven, & at 11 we set off for Windsor where we arrived by one & found every body well. the K^g went on Horseback immediately, I dressed[,] read & wrote & worked till 4, when we dined at the Castle. walked by 7 at upon the Terrace[,] returned by 8, drank Tea, had Music[,] played at Cards. Supped at 10 & retired by 11. L^rd & L^dy Harrington & l^dy Anna Maria ² their Daughter, & L^rd Walsingham were of Our party.
