ABSTRACT

The Menlo culture, work systems and processes are completely aligned with Menlo’s mission and beliefs. Its culture is open, transparent, collaborative, relational, and non-hierarchical, and there is a spirit of invention that is safe from fear. Menlo has created a different system, one that takes care of all of the people in the process. Menlo has created a different system, one that takes care of all of the people in the process. Brooks said, “adding manpower to a late software project makes it later.” Today, that concept is called Brooks’ law. This is an accepted belief and when the workers have a “law” in our industry “it shall not be broken”.
