ABSTRACT

Digital Color Correction The standard color correction tool incorporated into many NLE systems is, in fact, quite a powerful image correction device; it takes some time and patience to learn, but once mastered it can put a truly professional and individualized polish on the look of your motion picture. Color correction is used primarily to accomplish four things: 1. Match color and brightness values across all clips in a single scene. 2. Correct color temperature or exposure problems. 3. Enhance colors to create subtle tonalities for a specific “look” or mood. 4. Create color effects, like stripping an image of all but one specific color.
