ABSTRACT
Wrist fractures occur at all ages. Frequently the result of a fall onto the outstretched hand, the pattern of injury varies with age. Wrist fractures usually present as an isolated injury. On occasion however they occur in association with a second upper limb fracture. The whole of the upper limb must therefore be examined lest a more serious injury be missed.
