The new job included oversight of the company's online games, including their crowning jewel, The Lord of the Rings Online. After Craig ended the call and gave the author the gist of it, they burst into spontaneous celebration, joyful voices carried heavenward by the brisk, mountaintop breeze. This particular track, Ages of the Golden Wood, would accompany players first entrance into and discovery of Lothlorien, a magical and most welcome reprieve after the horrors of Moria and Khazad-dum. At the end, the horn and whistle rise together one last time in unity and understanding, ultimately continuing apart as the whistle (Frodo) quietly disappears and the horn (Aragorn) carries on resolutely toward Rohan. He recorded the Mordor score with the Utah Film Orchestra, the same group that performed the original scores for Riders of Rohan, Mines of Moria, and Shadows of Angmar.
