ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the different tasks that can be performed on large data collections to provide insights at a glance to a data analyst. However, when the standard deviation is also viewed, it would show the reader that 5 is actually quite distant from the true representation of the scores. This approach is useful as it provides a logical way of separating each of the collections of feedback and ensuring that each collection, in this case, the day of the week, is accurately represented in the final sample set. It reviews how to calculate the percentage difference between two calendar dates. This chapter provides an outline of the common statistical methods that can be used during the analysis of larger data collections. As many of the statistical methods can be achieved by using PHP or by using existing database functions, both options were explored.
