Effects of d-amphetamine, LSD-25, strychnine, nicotine and various anticholinergic agents, Psychopharmacologia, 10, 44—58, 1966. Nicotine tartrate at doses of 0.1 and 0.2 mg/kg did not affect sexual behavior of male rats. Doses of 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 decreased several indexes sexual behavior, e.g., intromission latency, postejaculatory refractory interval. Males were given previous sexual experience and females were sexually receptive at time of testing.
