ABSTRACT
People derive their sense of aesthetics from cultural tradition and express their response to the object or performance through demeanor, gesture, and verbalization from a simple utterance to a profound exegesis. Tastes differ, whether because of ethnicity, status, or other factors; they may even come into conflict among groups or individuals, which demonstrates the importance of aesthetic matters in everyday lives.
