ABSTRACT
I have written a master’s thesis and a Ph.D. dissertation in two different areas. My master’s degree was in linguistics and my Ph.D. in sociology. In the past few years, I have also directed and served on committees for graduate students’ theses in the department of sociology. If I were to write another thesis or dissertation, it could be much easier than it was earlier. My suggestions for the students who are working on graduate degrees that require a thesis or dissertation are several as follows.
