ABSTRACT
Ideology is one of the consequences of the transformation of the ecclesia into the religion of Christianity. But it is not only religion that functions in ideological ways. Various socio-political ideologies in Europe, ostensibly non-religious, also emerged in the wake of the triumph of religious individualism.
