ABSTRACT
The reality of the Tout-Monde of authors of French expression is multi-facetted, infused with the multiple and the diverse. In contemporary French Littérature-monde, authors Fatou Diome, Abdourahman Waberi, and Mohamed Mbougar Sarr explore the expanse of the world, extending beyond former France-Other dialectics which have been tendentious for African authors since independence. The reality of these contemporary African diasporic authors of French expression is that their literature is always created in motion, written in multiple elsewheres and heres. Through the frameworks of philosophies of displacement, this chapter analyzes novels by these authors for what they reveal about movement and relations (Glissant) as necessary for the creation of new worlds and new becomings. These writers are producing today's stories of the world, as they consider their own positionalities and intersectionalities forming their identities as authors of French expression living beyond the limits of postcoloniality.
