ABSTRACT
Industry 5.0 represents the next phase of the industrial revolution, marking a shift towards greater human-machine collaboration. It focuses on human-machine collaboration to enhance productivity and sustainability. Emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and augmented reality (AR) drive unprecedented efficiency while opening up new opportunities. Algorithms and AI are critical in synchronising human and machine efforts. However, issues like data security, lack of skilled workforce, and high costs pose challenges. Innovations like AR, natural language processing (NLP), and haptics aim to facilitate smooth human-computer interaction (HCI). The future of Industry 5.0 lies in the intelligent application of algorithms and AI to bring about the seamless integration of human intellect and machine efficiency. However, it highlights significant challenges, notably data security, skilled workforce shortage, and high costs.
