ABSTRACT

In a world controlled by AI, data, and continually enhancing connection technology, it is challenging to quit the “Internet of Things” (IoT) off a list of cutting-edge and paradigm-shifting technologies. IoT is crucial for developing many additional technologies, including machine learning, and may be among the most crucial ones currently in use. The future of IoT will be endless. Advances to the economic net might be multiplied through accelerated community agility, integrated synthetic intelligence (AI), and the ability to deploy, automate, orchestrate, and relax various use instances at hyper-scale. This chapter depicts the mutualistic relationship between IoT and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This chapter briefly describes wearable IoT technology. Using 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and LORA WAN in IoT helps improve the connectivity infrastructure. Future IoT trends will mostly be influenced by technologies like edge AI, blockchain, 5G, and edge computing. The adoption of IoT technology can be advantageous for a variety of industries, including manufacturing, agribusiness, healthcare, transit, media/advertising, retail, water and waste management, and electricity delivery.
