ABSTRACT

In this research article, a dual-square-shaped slots microstrip-fed multiband antenna with protruding stub and defect structure in ground plane is presented. The prototype antenna is drafted using Rogers TMM3 dielectric substrate with relative permittivity 3.27 and dissipation factor 0.002. This antenna is fed by 50Φ microstrip feed lines. The dimensions of the prototype antenna are 34 × 30 × 0.8 mm3 The three different frequency ranges as (2.3–3 GHz)/2.6 GHz (6–6.2 GHz)/6.1 GHz and (6.8–7.3 GHz)/7 GHz having the return loss of —39 dB, —18 dB, and —38 dB, respectively, are covered by the antenna, which are much suitable for the applications like GSM, Bluetooth, WLAN, WiMAX, and some long-distance radio telecommunication applications. The gains achieved are 2.63 dBi, 3.023 dBi, and 3.23 dBi, respectively. The 139various parametric analyses, Return Loss, Current Distribution, Pattern of radiation, and Gain, simulated on ANSYS HFSS, are discussed in this paper.
