ABSTRACT

This paper examines the ability of two creep laws (volumetric and deviatoric), associated with a constitutive model composed by the Modified Cam Clay yield surface combined with the Von Mises yield surface, to simulate the creep behavior of a soft soil chemically stabilized with binders. The constitutive models associated with the two creep laws are validated by oedometer and triaxial creep tests done for the stabilized soil. A 2-D finite element code with these constitutive models and creep laws is used in these analyses.
