ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to survey the current state and needs of using smartphones about medical services for elderly people. A total of 40 participants were surveyed by questionnaire. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1) Applying medias (e.g. TV programs and telephone) to disseminate health care information that is often used by older people. 2) Design medical service applications with universal design concepts for the elderly, making the operation interface easy to operate. 3) Improving the quality of hospital services. For example: early training and evaluation mechanism for medical staff service attitude; medical bus service for the elderly or disability people; providing appointment services, 4) Combining artificial intelligence technology with home care products, track chronic diseases, conduct long-distance consultation services, deliver drugs by express delivery, and reduce the inconvenience of elderly people going to and from hospitals.
