ABSTRACT
Parkinson’s disease is a slowly progressive neurodegenerative disorder of unknown origin. MRI is a powerful evolving imaging modality which is advancing in several directions to demonstrate this complex disease. With better understanding of the pathophysiology of the disease and the continuing advancement of MR technology, this modality will play a more active role in diagnosis and management of this disease. This chapter presents the progress to date.
